Suro Sen

Sentech LLC is an Arlington Virginia based corporation that provides management consulting services primarily to the federal government in mobile security, 5G, mobile application development, and subject matter expertise services. Sentech’s principal Mr. Suro Sen brings more than 25 years of experience with the federal government and industry in wireless telecom and mobile security spaces. Mr. Sen has over 12 years of experience in the federal government space, first as a Principal Telecom Advisor at the Department of Commerce, focused on FirstNet and public safety programs, and after that, as a mobility sector head for Redhorse Corporation, where he focused on mobility and mobile security programs at General Services Administration, and Department of Homeland Security (Science & Technology Directorate, and Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency). Mr. Sen has also supported the Dept of Defense Research & Engineering 5G program office in advanced 5G research. He has conducted early-stage research on advanced 5G topics such as Sidelink / Cellular Vehicle-to-X Communication, Terrestrial-to-Non-Terrestrial Communications, and Private 5G Networks. Mr. Sen is the senior advisor and coordinator of activities for the Federal Mobility Group (FMG). The FMG is a mobility community of practice chartered under the Federal CIO-Council, with nearly 400+ members from the federal staff (. gov/.mil) and support contractors. DHS, GSA, and NIST co-chair the FMG. Mr. Sen is a founding member of the FMG and the leadership team. Mr. Sen is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the group, which involves working with all federal agency mobility programs and sharing education and best practices across the government. The FMG has four strategic pillars – mobile security, 5G/MNI, Acquisitions, and mission enablement. Via the FMG, Mr. Sen has coordinated and held numerous technical workshops where he has invited industry and federal speakers on mobile security and 5G topics. With a BS in Electrical Engineering, MBA in Finance, and deeply entrenched in federal mobility programs, Mr. Sen brings vast knowledge, technical depth, and expertise in the federal government space.
